(taken from PW-PH Wiki)EditRaces
The Celestial Monarch and Ten Veiled King created humans to cultivate the lands of the Immaculate Lady of Earth, taking pains to protect this race against the warping effect of the Yang and the sterilizing effect of the Yin. These humans, new and pleasing to gods and demons alike, rapidly multiplied and their number covered the Land of Pangu and after thousands of years, both the Celestial Monarch and the Ten Veiled King had finally deemed decided to return to their respective dominions. Both august sovereigns sealed of all portals to the Heavens and the Underworlds, leaving behind a handful of powerful gods and demons to oversee the development of the Land.
Then one night, a burning brightness followed by a numbing darkness suffused the realm of Pangu that caused all the gods and demons to vanish. In the wake of their disappearance, three new cities were discovered: Feather City (where winged humanoids dwell created by the Gods), Beast City (where beast like humanoids dwell created by the Demons) and Dragon City (where there only remained two infants – one boy and one girl).
Soon, relationships between cities and races became strained and the inhabitants began to wage war with each other. Kingdoms built by warlords and tyrants rose and fell, borders shifted yearly, and the scent of blood and the ring of combat was commonplace throughout the lands.
EditWingkind
Wingkind, gifted with the ability to fly, develop wings from the moment they were born. This allows them to move freely in the skies once their wings are strong enough to carry them.
Some of the wingkind have developed their skills on archery. Those who do rely on their bows, crossbows and slings to defeat their enemies in battle and rid the world of the soulless. These wingkind archers are known as YuMangs.
YuLings, on the other hand, rely on supportive spell-casting. Armed with knowledge on spells that increase other people's defensive and offensive capability, they reinforce the troops' prowess in battle. But, do not think that these wingkind spell-casters lack any skills in defending themselves or causing any damage. Aside from their supportive spells, they are also capable of casting destructive ones and can chant spells that can lower an enemy's defensive and offensive capabilities.
EditBeastkind
Believed to be offspring of the Beastlords of the underworld, a being of Beast lineage is given away by its animal features and fur. Beasts are instilled with a sense of pride by their sires by tales of great beasts who mastered their animal natures and gained great powers as a result.
EditHumankind
Created by the Celestial Monarch and the Ten-Veiled King of the Underworld, humans were created to inherit the world. They are the most widespread of the races, and can be found in all shapes and sized in nearly every corner of the Land of Pangu. Human adventurers can come from almost any background. Some are driven by a desire for travel, exploration, adventure and perhaps some fortune and glory while others are driven by a hunger for conquest, violence, riches and power.
